I understand. I have my doubts as well, but I assumed that that would be unwelcome. I'm glad to know that I am not alone in this sentiment.
Tell me, how long did it take before that feeling passed? Did it?

It only took me 4 days to absorb everything I learned after my induction. Though, I did have some lingering feelings of unease and worry about the current state of politics.

I'm impressed. Even with my own opinions on the world at large, I doubt I would be able to do something like that in such a short amount of time. Do you have any advice?

I guess I have to keep my open mind about everything. Though, I also have to remember the facts and the current events. I learned that the hard way years ago.

While I managed to change the heart of my mother's friend, it isn't enough to clear my family's name. In fact, I was ignorant of the events that transpired along with the murder case, thinking that they are unrelated to it.

During my final year in college, a businessman was murdered in his penthouse with most of his money being stolen from his bank account. A 32-years old worker was found as a witness and suspect, not to mention he's my mother's client.

Not exactly. My mother was his lawyer to defend him. But after his suicide, she was brought in for questioning regard her time as his lawyer.

I'm afraid so. It's not only affected my mother but my father as well in suspicions of adultery with her client. He didn't believe those rumors, but the thought of it is enough to make my father paranoid.
As for me, I ended up being bombarded by reporters every time I left college. It was very frustrating, asking me the same questions regarding the case.

It died down with only a few reporters. But after I got my Persona, they didn't bother me anymore.
Though that doesn't mean I can't stay idle because the culprit confessed and gave herself to the police.
