[At night, a bar, backdated to the day after valentines]
While many people are out having couples' day after dinner, or doing slam poetry and burning teddy bears from regrettable exes, Kyle is taking advantage of the fact the bar being less crowded than usual - usually this place would be packed with UCLA students - a frustrating thing for him as he discovered this is one of the few bars that did decent cocktails that didn't charge an arm and a leg for it. He had his burner phone out, waiting to see if the Phantom had any news about their excursion, he sure hope playing nice to the bigot did help, or otherwise he made his own skin crawl for nothing.
Well, the peaceful atmosphere didn't last for long - as someone... worse someone he recognizes from work started to get belligerent about getting cut off. So much for enjoying his mint julep, he groans, and starts to push himself off the bar to stop it. "Franklin - knock it off! You can barely stand straight."
For a moment, it looked like the much larger man was ready to take a swing, but upon recognizing him, he mutters and protests, dropping his arm. "They're not being respectful, Kiske." The man gestures, and Kyle immediately took advantage of this momentary lapse to drag the man out, calling out to the bartender to call a taxi service.
"I'm so sorry," The officer mutters to the bartender once he returned from taking Franklin outside, his hand going over his face as he feels a lot of eyes staring at him. "Another drink, and here's a twenty for the trouble..." So much for having a low key night out.
