WHO: Hana Song
WHEN: Backdated before the Palace
WHERE: Movie set initially.
WHAT: Hana has been working hard between school and working on the movie, only to realize that her uncle pulled a few strings that she didn't like; Leading to her awakening to her Persona.
Hana initially come to LA for the sake of starring in a new movie that was coming out. She practically aced her audition and was passionate about her role. Between school and the movie, she's been keeping herself pretty busy... Actually a little too busy these days. She rarely had time to play her games, besides her esports gig on the side. She's been so focused on keeping up in school and her job to keep running herself into the ground with the work load.
But that didn't matter to her. She was really giving it her all and doing the best she could do make the movie the best it could be. There had been whispers behind her back the entire time there, causing her to kind of stray away from the others and stick to herself mostly. There were a few cool people and her co-actor seemed like a nice guy. She'd hear whispers about how she shouldn't be there and that they should have hired someone from the country rather than someone from Korea. Maybe they just didn't realize that just because she was from Korea, it didn't mean she didn't understand 95% of what they were trying to say. She was a foreigner and probably didn't understand much English, or so they thought.
In the end, it didn't matter to her. She could deal with those attitudes and their cold shoulders. Maybe it was also why she distanced herself in the first place? But then she also heard whispers about how she only got the role because her uncle was the producer. How she'd pulled strings to take the role from others who auditioned and that the auditions were rigged. Of everything, those were the things that really bothered her. She worked hard to get her role and where she was right now. Her uncle merely helped her by letting her know about the audition, that was it. But it was no use trying to explain that.
She hoped things would settle down as time went on, but the more time that passed the more she felt the stigma pile on, weighing her down mentally. Things seemed to be going well, but her uncle was especially pushy. She wanted to chalk it up to how he was rooting for her to succeed and that he believed in her, but it felt like he had his own agenda as time went by. That was crazy talk though. There was no way he was using her for his own agenda.. That was something she'd told herself often. Even if she kept telling herself that though, the more and more unnerved she felt. Was there more to this or was she just coming up with baseless lies due to her growing insecurity?
It wasn't until later that she started to piece things together. Nothing was going right and as hard as she tried to keep up, she was being pushed to her limit. The others seemed to just continue to think that she used her connections to get the role, which made it difficult while doing her job. There was the fact that her wages seemed garnished for some reason and whens he'd ask about it, she'd be given all sorts of excuses. She had noticed the red eye icon pop up on her phone, but she didn't remember installing anything recently. No matter how many times she tried to delete it, it came back. It made her wonder if her phone had been compromised as far as security went.
One day she decided to just give it a try to see what it actually was, since googling it didn't seem to come up with any answers. It was risky, but seeing it was some sort of navigation device made her question just why it kept coming up. A few words and suddenly she found herself in a completely different place. It was so surreal and it... no.. There was no way this was real. What was she looking at? Was she dreaming? It looked like the studio became... a market place of some sort? If that wasn't strange, than seeing her face everywhere was definitely weird. Sure she's used to having merchandise of her sold due to her previous acting success and gaming side of her, but this... This was down right creepy. The worst part is seeing things sell like crazy and tons of people ready so spend money for things that were obviously overpriced.
She tried to get someone's attention, but they paid her no mind. After calling out for a while, she tried to step in front of someone but they walked right through her? Okay, now she was definitely creeped out. "What the hell is going on here!?" she finally shouted out, not thinking about how she intended on that being to herself. That finally got the attention of a strange security guard, "Hey, if you don't intend to buy something, beat it. We're busy here and have no need for people who are just straggling around."
"I... What? No. Those products... Those are me. Why are you selling this kind of stuff?" she protested, trying to get some answers.
"Look kid, your D.va costume is pretty good, but you'll have to try better," he stated simply and then pointed to a group of others who tried to say they were her but were obviously not her, "go join your friends before I have to escort you there myself."
She may need a little help because things are starting to get ugly around here.

"Hana, Just what are you doing here? I thought I'd already kicked you off of the project," he spoke, silently ordering the remaining shadow to stand down for the time being. "You have no further value to me, but we can just as easily say that you weren't clicking for the movie. Perhaps blame it on English being your second language," he said with a shrug. Soon after her gestured to the Palace in general, "A shame though. You're pretty face was being so well. How will they take it when they realize you're no longer good enough to star in this movie?"
She felt her hands clinch into a fist, not realizing they were shaking slightly. "So that was it. That's the reason why you did this... I worked so hard thinking that you were doing it to support me, but maybe I've been wrong from the start," she said, stepping out even more so now, "Did I mean anything to you to begin with, or have I just been so stupid for not seeing a trap in front of me this entire time?"

"Rose! Be on guard but don't get between them! This is her battle to fight!"

I hope this works????
She had nothing to say. Or rather, she did, but nothing that was coming out when she was trying to figure out what to say first. "You're the worst....," she muttered under her breath.
"I got where I did because of me. You told me about the role, but I got here on my own two feet. I don't need your help to get what I want," she retaliated back. He just shook his head with a condescending look, "There's no way you would have made it if I didn't rig the auditions. You have me to thank for all of your success and cleaning up after your mistakes."
"Shut up!" she shouted back, quick to respond, "I am my own person and I can fight for what I want on my own. I don't need anybody who cheats their way up and into roles. I can't stand people who take the easy way out. I can't stand seeing people only rise in rank because of unfair means. If I lose this role, then at least let me lose it to my own mistakes. I can work hard to prove that I am definitely fit for it without anyone interfering!"
"It seems you've finally come to your senses. Didn't you think it was a little strange how smooth your ride was?" a sudden voice came in her mind as she clutched her head, "Don't stop now. Show him all that your worth. Show him that you're truly fit for the success you've gained and you don't need his help to be a better person than him." It hurt. What was this? Who was speaking to her like this? But did that matter when she could maybe do something about this...? "It looks like you're ready. I am thou, Thou art I...," she heard as a mask appeared, reaching to tear it off (as if by instinct), there was a sudden burst of power. With this, she could end this. She could put him in his place. "What the hell is happening?!" her Uncle's shadow blurted out. Coming back to, she appeared in a mech.
"I'm done.... being your plaything. You're not going to hold me back anymore and I sure as hell am done following your orders just because you say they're what's best for me. I have control over my own life and I will seize whatever power I can get to forge my own path!" she yelled at him. "Let's get him, Tokki (토끼)!"

Locke leaps into action, tearing off his own mask and launching a barrage of flame at her Uncle's Shadow.

A satisfied smirk on her face, she looks over at Hana. "We'll cover you. Take him out!"
